This hand selected Space Compass measures in at 2 1/4" from the bail to the bottom. It features a stunning opal perfectly encased and centered over a heavy golden vortex. The medallion is surrounded by Serum dots, each one representing the cardinal and ordinal directions. This is where the name Space Compass originated from. The only colored glass used in this piece is the black and Serum (serum glass changes from pink to yellow depending on the light source), the remaining colors are produced by introducing 24k gold and silver to the glass at specific temperatures.
